I would like a spare chain for my pruning saw. Which chain do I need?
The chain loop fitted to the pruner is an Oregon 40EX91PX. These can be purchased from Revill Mowers Ltd!
What oil should I use in the pruner attachment to lubricate the chain?
A low viscosity chain oil or Mitox Chain oil should be used to fill the oil reservoir on the pruner. Be sure to check the oil level every time you refuel the engine.
If something goes wrong with my pole pruner how do I fix it?
To keep any warranty valid, all repairs should be carried out by a MITOX approved service dealer. You can find your closest dealer here.
What fuel should I use in my pruner?
We recommend the use of Aspen Fuel in all petrol machinery that we sell, to prevent engine damage caused by Ethanol found in petrol.
Is the 28PP SELECT petrol pole pruner supplied with a harness?
Yes, a padded single strap harness will be included.
Are different attachments available to fit on my MITOX petrol pole pruner?

What is included with a 28PP SELECT petrol pole pruner?

I am finding that it is taking a long time and more effort to cut through branches. What could be causing this?
It is important that the saw chain is sharp for maximum performance and safe operation. If you find that more force is required and the sawdust has become powder like, the chain is likely to be blunt and needs sharpening or replacing.
